Is mirriored furniture right for a young couple? Where can i find unexpensive pieces?

I am 22 years old and my husband is 25 we have 1 son, anyhow is this furniture right for us in your opinion?.....I want a couple pieces some including target and pier 1 actually the only 2 stores I have in mind....has anyone bought from here? How should I decorate? Help!
