Can people see that I've been looking at their facebook?

There are so many apps now that say they will tell you who's been on your facebook profile. I've clicked on every one of them, and they all want me to complete a pointless survey, or give my credit card number. Is it just a scam, or is there actually a way to see who's been visiting your profile?
