America Opportunity Tax Credit formerly known as the Hope Scholarship Fund?

I am a freshman in college and I am about to get my taxes filed. I pay $6000 a year with loans and out of pocket cash. Do I qualify for any of it? Also, my parents do not pay for or help with any of my college expenses.
