Ask her to be valentine?

Now-a-days so many people text questions like that, it doesn't really matter. In your case especially, since that's the only way you /can/ ask. To be someone's Valentine, you don't have to go out on Valentine's Day. It's more or less a title basically. It would be nice if you did do something for her another time though, I'm sure she would appreciate it. Good luck!
