Does your Capital one credit line go up after first 5 payments? What if you make them all at once?

I read online that after about your first 5 payments (mine are $15 a month) that your credit line goes up. Is this true? Also what if you make the payments all at once, would it still go up? I tried calling Capital one but never could seem to get a straight answer. I have the Journey student card if it helps.
