House foreclosed & sold at auction. 2 days later new owner has destroyed all previous owner's properties.?

Our house was foreclosed Feb 10 and sold at an auction the same day. We were on the process of moving our things out and have few furnitures and lots of stuff left in our shed and attic. 2 days later we got to the house with changed locks and stuff were gone and shed destroyed. Don't we previous owner's have any rights to any notice? We were already leaving? Shed built by my father died of cancer 2 and a half months ago and really wanted to save the shed.
