Does joico shampoo work?

i was in science class the other day and i was looking at my hair under a microscope and OMG! it was so damaged! i looked up what some good repair shampoos are and this lady had some bad dye and perm jobs and said this worked really well. i don't want to blow my money on one persons opinion so can you help me?
