Does he like me that way like I hope he does?

I have this friend who is very VERY attractive, I used to have a class with him and talk to him all the time but now he's in credit recovery so I hardly ever see him. But last week he sat with me in class and were joking around and I was mildly flirting with him. There were a few times when he would move his arm to touch mine and keep it there, and he wrote my name on my arm and we made the most ridiculous faces at each other when we would look at each other. He's one of the nicest and sweetest guys, I have no idea if he likes me in that kind of way, so I want a second opinion before I ask him out.
